Legacies (Bequests)

The greatest gift anyone can make for future generations affected by AS is a donation in a will. That is why a donation in your will to Aspire is such a valuable way to support our work in years to come. The funds received through donations from wills enables Aspire to continue our important work with those affected by AS and their families now and in the future. We appreciate that family and friends must always come before any donation to us, or any charity, but any donation no matter what its size will be gratefully received and put to valuable use.

Ways to remember Aspire in your will
Put simply, to write a will is to provide legal instructions to others about what you want to happen to your belongings and money in the event of your death. It can also be used to provide for any dependants you have or to leave a donation to a charity that is special to you. A will allows you to clearly state what your wishes are.

Looking after a person with Asperger Syndrome in your will
If you have a dependant affected by AS your will can help to provide the best possible support and care for them for years to come. As circumstances and requirements differ amongst people and laws and social security provision change, we strongly recommend you seek legal advice to ensure the best provision for your dependant. Previously Aspire has worked with John Costello who has much experiencing in setting up trust funds for parents of children with AS.
His number is (01) 202-6400.
